Premier League picks: Predictions for every EPL game on Matchday 10

It's another busy weekend of Premier League action on Matchday 10. Some critical Champions League clashes loom after the weekend, which could influence team selections (and maybe even motivation). Win, lose or draw, here's how we predict each and every Premier League game will shake out.

Saturday: Sunderland vs. Arsenal

The Black Cats couldn't correct their tailspin last week against West Ham, and it's unlikely they will be able to in Saturday's early match against Arsenal. Sunderland have a paltry two points from their first nine matches and David Moyes hasn't been able to stem the tide. Arsenal were handed a surprising draw last week against Middlesbrough, but they're tied with Liverpool for the most road points collected on the season. Against the dumpster fire that is Sunderland, the Gunners will pick up another trio of points.

Final score: Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal

Saturday: Middlesbrough vs. Bournemouth

Boro have to feel buoyed by their draw against Arsenal last week, as do Bournemouth with their draw vs. Spurs. The point for Boro pushed them ahead of the relegation zone, but only on superior goal difference. Middlesbrough have collected just one point at home thus far, so it's not as though Riverside Stadium has been an impenetrable fortress. Bournemouth don't have an away win on the season, but they scored three goals in their two away draws. Eddie Howe's Cherries are in decent enough form for a smash-and-grab victory against Boro.

Final score: Middlesbrough 0-1 Bournemouth

Saturday: Manchester United vs. Burnley

United earned an important victory in a midweek Manchester Derby, albeit against a less-than-star-studded City lineup. Either way, a win is a win and it helped wash away the taste of an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Chelsea in the league last week. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has yet to get things going for the Red Devils but could find some joy against Burnley's defense, which has a habit of napping on the road. They've conceded nine goals in three away matches, and now they're heading to the vaunted Theatre of Dreams. Look for their unfortunate trend to continue, and for Jose Mourinho to scoop an important victory.

Final score: Manchester United 3-0 Burnley

Saturday: Tottenham vs. Leicester

Despite their relative drop in form, Spurs remain the league's lone unbeaten side. Harry Kane is still on the shelf, and Spurs could use him to infuse a bit of energy into the team. Going goalless at Bournemouth last week was evidence of that. Alas, Mauricio Pochettino has targeted a return for Kane around the Arsenal match -- and I can't blame him for that. Leicester have an important match in the Champions League upcoming, but that competition hasn't given them much trouble thus far, anyway. The defending champs need to show a bit of pride and get a Premier League result now. It won't be easy, but Leicester could snatch an away point at White Hart Lane.

Final score: Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

Saturday: Watford vs. Hull

The only thing keeping Hull from joining Sunderland as surefire relegation candidates is a pair of early wins. That seems like ages ago, and Hull have been awful since. Their last two road games have been bloodbaths, conceding six at Bournemouth and five at Liverpool. Watford are playing attractive matches with their en-vogue 3-5-2 formation under Walter Mazzarri. A win or even a draw for Hull seems like wishful thinking, as they're just in the midst of a precipitous free-fall. Throw in their road woes and Watford's decent form and it looks to be another long day for the Tigers.

Final score:Watford 3-1 Hull

Saturday: West Brom vs. Manchester City

This is a Pep Guardiola we've never seen before. In City's last six matches in all competitions, the Citizens don't have a single win. That's uncharted waters for Guardiola, and the club's longest winless streak since 2008. Furthermore, trouble lurks ahead for City with Barcelona looming in the Champions League. That said, West Brom have just one victory in four home matches so far. Kevin De Bruyne could make his return to feature for City, which would be a big boost. He's tied atop the league with four assists on the season despite missing time. City aren't playing well, but they're still plenty powerful enough to win the road games they're supposed to win. Dropping points at West Brom would be alarming.

Saturday: Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool

After a bright start to the season, the Eagles have been humbled by back-to-back defeats in the Premier League, including a 1-0 loss at home to West Ham. Liverpool, meanwhile, have kept their strong season under Jurgen Klopp rolling. Captain Jordan Henderson is pulling all the strings in the middle of the pitch and leads the league with 765 passes. To put that into perspective, the next-closest player is Fernandinho with 633. Liverpool love to score, and perhaps more impressively, they love to share the wealth. Three players have four goals for the Reds, while another two players have scored three times. Palace will keep the game entertaining, but Liverpool should emerge the victors in an open battle.

Final score: Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool

Sunday: Everton vs. West Ham

The last four matches haven't been kind to Everton, with two losses and two draws. Ronald Koeman's offense has stagnated at a bit, too, scoring three over that time frame. Despite the plodding offense, Romelu Lukaku remains prolific with six goals on the season. West Ham are coming off of a pair of EPL wins, albeit last week's victory came against cellar-dwelling Sunderland. The Hammers did earn an impressive League Cup victory against Chelsea midweek, though. Dimitri Payet is always a threat with a free kick, no matter where he plays. This match could go either way, so I'll settle for a draw.

Final score: Everton 1-1 West Ham

Sunday: Southampton vs. Chelsea

The Blues came back down to earth a little bit after losing in the League Cup, but their Premier League form has been unmatched the past three games. Antonio Conte will likely set up in his favored 3-4-3 formation with his preferred players again, leaving questions about John Terry's status in the team. Southampton have a few injury concerns which could tip the scales in this match, although the Saints are coming off a quality draw against Man City. Southampton are a strong team at home, but the Blues did win their last meeting at St. Mary's. Conte seems to have a bottled magic with Chelsea at the moment, and it wouldn't be stunning to see them eke out a difficult win.

Final score: Southampton 1-2 Chelsea

Monday: Stoke vs. Swansea

Stoke are heating up at the right time, winning back-to-back matches and taking at least a point from their last four in the league. The Potters have a talented midfield anchored by the resurgent Joe Allen and recovering Xherdan Shaqiri. Swansea have been a disappointment this season, and look like they'll be relegation candidates until the end. Of note: three of their five points have come on the road. Swansea manager Bob Bradley has yet to earn a Premier League victory, and he'll likely be made to wait again this weekend. A draw was a solid result for Bradley last time out, and an away point at Stoke would be nothing to sneeze at.

Final score: Stoke 1-1 Swansea
