Ozil hits hat-trick in Arsenal mauling

It was the first time Arsenal had faced Bulgarian opposition in any competition but the visitors' task at a chilly Emirates Stadum always looked an ominous one. The last Bulgarian side to win a European away game against an English side was CSKA Sofia over 30 years ago, against Nottingham Forest, and that did not look like changing for a minute here.Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was able to hand starting sports to Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, both of whom have found playing time difficult to come by over the past few weeks. David Ospina once again took over from Petr Cech, as he has done for Champions League group stage games after forging a deal with Wenger before the season started, and he once again looked solid and confident when tested in goal, although those moments were few and far between. Brazilian midfielder Wanderson missed a superb opportunity to pull one back for the away side when he flashed an effort wide of Ospina’s post but Arsenal’s dominance was total otherwise.

The "bestial" murder of two young women in Morocco is being investigated as a terrorism attack, Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said. Three men were arrested on Thursday over the murder of Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway. The pair were found dead from knife wounds near a popular tourist spot on Monday. At least one of the suspects has been linked to an Islamist extremist group. One person had already been arrested on Monday, hours after the bodies of the two women were discovered with injuries to their necks. Police also supplied photos of the three other suspects, prompting a 72-hour manhunt. It might be time for Manchester United to give up on the top 4 and focus on the Europa League

Manchester United are fifth in the Premier League, a mere five points back of Manchester City for the coveted final Champions League place. On top of that, they have a match in hand. The Red Devils are right there in their pursuit of that glorious top four, and yet it might be time for them to put that chase aside. It might be time for Manchester United to forget the top four and focus on the Europa League. At this point, all that really matters is qualifying for the Champions League. Anthony Martial’s next goal is going to cost Manchester United €10 million

It’s no secret that Manchester United isn’t afraid to spend money by the bucketful. They spent a record-high amount on the transfer of Paul Pogba and they have the most expensive roster in all of Europe. Pretty soon, it appears, they are going to have to dish out an extra €10 million because Anthony Martial is playing too well lately. Since Martial arrived at Old Trafford last season, he’s been in the best stretch of goal-scoring of his career and, because of it, his transfer from AS Monaco is going to cost Jose Mourinho’s side just a little  bit more. Per Martial’s contract, if he scores on Thursday in the Europa League against his former rival Saint-Étienne, it will trigger a clause in his contract that forces Manchester United to pay up a €10 million bonus to his old club when he hits 25 goals for the Red Devils.
