Cardiff University climber, 21, dies in fall on Ben Nevis

A 21-year-old climber has died after falling while tackling a route in Ben Nevis' Tower Gully.
Police were alerted to the accident at about 14:25 on Sunday.
The man was a student at Cardiff University and had been a member of the university's students' union mountaineering club.
He was flown by a coastguard search and rescue helicopter to the Belford Hospital in Fort William where he died from his injuries.
The man's climbing partner also fell and survived. He has been receiving treatment at the Belford for "non-life threatening injuries".

'Advice and support'

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team was also involved in the rescue operation.
Sgt Michael Bell, of Police Scotland, said: "Our thoughts are with the man's friends and family at this very sad time.
"I would take the opportunity to thank the crew of the HM Coastguard helicopter and Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team for their assistance with this incident."
A spokesman for Cardiff University said: "We are aware of the tragic death of a Cardiff University student over the weekend.
"The next of kin have been notified and we continue to liaise closely with our students' union colleagues.
"Our immediate thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends. Advice and support is available to anyone touched by this event."

Woman trapped in billionaire's New York lift all weekend

A woman has been rescued after spending an entire weekend trapped in her billionaire employer's lift, authorities said. The woman, reported to be 53-year-old Marites Fortaliza, entered the elevator at the Manhattan townhouse owned by investment banker Warren Stephens on Friday evening. Firefighters responded to an emergency call at 10:00 local time (15:00 GMT) on Monday and forced the lift open. Ms Fortaliza is recovering in hospital. According to a family statement reported by the Associated Press Ms Fortaliza was dehydrated but in a stable condition at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Governor jailed for sexual assault

A former South Korean governor and one-time presidential contender has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for rape, five months after he was controversially acquitted for the same crime. Ahn Hee-jung was jailed by an appeals court Friday for the rape and assault of Kim Ji-eun, his former assistant, Kim's lawyer Jung Hye-sun told CNN.
