Tiwa Savage reveals sex tape blackmail

  Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has revealed she is being blackmailed over a sex tape but says she won't pay. She said the video was accidentally posted on Snapchat by her lover who deleted it after he realized his error but it had already been downloaded by a stalker. She said she cried when she first saw the video and feared the reaction. Savage, 41, is one of the world's biggest Afrobeats stars and is signed to Universal Music Group. "I am not going to call it a sex tape but it's a tape between me and the person I am dating right now," she told radio host Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 in New York. She revealed that the incident happened last month and that the person tried extorting money from her but that she was not going to allow anyone to blackmail her "for doing something that is natural". "I am that crazy I could put it out myself - you are not making any money off me," she said. She is currently in the US where she is promoting

  Doctors are being warned about a dangerous pre-workout trend called dry scooping that some gym-goers are doing. It involves eating powder supplements neat, rather than diluting them in water, as recommended by manufacturers, to make a drink. Pre-workout powders typically contain lots of amino acids, vitamins and other ingredients, such as caffeine. The idea is to give the body a boost before a workout to help stamina, although the science around it is patchy. But there are known risks from taking on too many energy-boosting stimulants. A big dose of caffeine, for example, can cause heart-related side effects, including palpitations and extra or missed beats. A scoop of powder might pack as much caffeine as five cups of coffee, say the researchers from the Cohen Children's Medical Center in New York. Woman trapped in billionaire's New York lift all weekend

A woman has been rescued after spending an entire weekend trapped in her billionaire employer's lift, authorities said. The woman, reported to be 53-year-old Marites Fortaliza, entered the elevator at the Manhattan townhouse owned by investment banker Warren Stephens on Friday evening. Firefighters responded to an emergency call at 10:00 local time (15:00 GMT) on Monday and forced the lift open. Ms Fortaliza is recovering in hospital. According to a family statement reported by the Associated Press Ms Fortaliza was dehydrated but in a stable condition at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She has been "a valued member of the Stephens extended family for 18 years" and a family member accompanied her to the hospital, they are quoted as saying. Governor jailed for sexual assault

A former South Korean governor and one-time presidential contender has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for rape, five months after he was controversially acquitted for the same crime. Ahn Hee-jung was jailed by an appeals court Friday for the rape and assault of Kim Ji-eun, his former assistant, Kim's lawyer Jung Hye-sun told CNN. Speaking after the verdict, Kim thanked her lawyers and witnesses who supported her case. "I can say goodbye to my torturous time when I was forced to live feeling like a witch to be burnt," she said.
